Jim Malliard: Because I’ve gotta ask you this question. I’m putting the listeners aside for a minute. So, what’s advice that you’d give – I’m going to say directly me because I don’t care about anyone else at this point – about, well not necessarily radio but just doing this kind of show?
George Noory: Well you’ve got a couple of things going for you. One, you love the paranormal, you’ve been a researcher for years; and you have a passion of what you do, and I think that’s important. That shines through with what you do. My advice in terms of, you know, listen to some of the broadcasters you like, pick up a few techniques for yourself, but develop your own style and develop your own personality in terms of who you are. You know, Jim, I’ve got a tremendous amount of supporters out there – huge; and I’ve got my detractors. I’ve got some people who just don’t like what I do, but I can’t broadcast to them. I try to learn, I try to pick up on things that they don’t like, because I think all of us can learn something and grow. I don’t care how old you are in this business or how good you think you might be, everybody can grow and evolve, and I try to do that as much as I can. But the bottom line is just do the best you can, give 120%, understand your subject matter – it’s a lot of work, a lot of prep time – and then give it your best shot.
