Welcome back Jack! Author, researcher, and disclosure advocate Jack Brewer once again graces the airwaves this week on The Malliard Report. Following the wake of Hurricane Irma, Jack joins Jim to discuss the state of MUFON, tips for bettering FOIA requests, and survives a barrage of rapid fire questions from the Duck Pond.
If you have any familiarity with the paranormal field then it is a given that it is known that MUFON is suffering from a near catastrophic implosion. Many different factors have been attributed to the decline of the organization (infighting, selling out, infiltration, mismanagement, et.al) but Jack believes that two major issues are plaguing the movement: 3 letter agencies involvement and succumbing to the razzle dazzle of the entertainment field. Like so many other branches of the paranormal tree, the UFO community has fallen victim to show business. Legitimate research and analysis is being traded in for entertainment driven fodder. Rather than show the world irrefutable evidence of UFOs, many are selling themselves with cheap antics in hopes to be the next History Channel marathon series.
A topic that is brought up early on in the episode, but is one that isn’t regularly discussed here on The Malliard Report is that of weather modification. So many are quick to write off the idea as that of chemtrail conspiracy theories but fail to realize that weather modification is in fact an actual weaponized thing. While it is theorized that weather modification has been used in a militaristic/weaponized manner since the 1940s, actual declassified instances first appear in the 1960s during the Vietnam War with Operation Popeye.
Operation Popeye was “…was a highly classified weather modification program in Southeast Asia during 1967–1972. The cloud seeding operation during the Vietnam War ran from March 20, 1967 until July 5, 1972 in an attempt to extend the monsoon season, specifically over areas of the Ho Chi Minh Trail. The operation was used to induce rain and extend the East Asian Monsoon season in support of U.S. government efforts related to the War in Southeast Asia. The former U.S. Secretary of Defense, Robert S. McNamara, was aware that there might be objections raised by the international scientific community but said in a memo to the president that such objections had not in the past been a basis for prevention of military activities considered to be in the interests of U.S. national security. The chemical weather modification program was conducted from Thailand over Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam and allegedly sponsored by Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and CIA without the authorization of then Secretary of Defense Melvin Laird who had categorically denied to Congress that a program for modification of the weather for use as a tactical weapon even existed.”
This was not the first instance of weather manipulation and most certainly not the last either. Many other projects and experiments have been documented over the years such as Project Stormfury, Project Cumulus, and the unfortunate Lynmouth Disaster where 35 people were killed due to severe flooding from cloud seeding experiments conducted by the Royal Air Force. So with this information, one can’t help but wonder about the “natural” possibility of the recent rash of hurricanes that battered the Caribbean and Florida coast (Jack’s stomping grounds).
